After months of rumors, it has been confirmed that Dakota Fanning will be in New Moon, taking the part of Jane. Filming starts in the Vancouver area next month and the movie is due out in November (as if you didn’t know that...)

Hmmmm. I wonder if that means Jane will have a substantial part (in terms of time). She isn't in the book much, but Fanning is a pretty big name. I'm excited she got the role-I think she'll be perfect.
