I'm no Buffy fan, but this is hilarious. (Take it in stride, Twilighters...it's just a spoof!) Many KUDOS goes out to Jonathan McIntosh at rebelliouspixels.com for really clever editing!

As many of you know, Melissa De La Cruz's Blue Bloods series continues with book #4, to be published on October 6th. It is titled, The Van Alen Legacy, and chronicles the doomed love affair between Schuyler Van Alen and Jack Force, both high-society vampires in Manhattan.
Melissa De La Cruz sent out copies of chapter one of this new book on Friday, June 19th via e-mail. Yours truly received hers, but I have yet to read this juicy tidbit of what is expected to be a very enthralling new book! If you are interested, you too, can receive a copy of the first chapter by emailing the author at: firstname.lastname@example.org . (This is not a link--copy and paste the address into your email.) Apparently, they will e-mail out the first chapter to anyone who asks for one each Friday until September 1st. For more info, see the entry on Melissa De La Cruz's online diary here.
For those of you who haven't read the series yet, here's a video that kinda summarizes the series in a cool way, but doesn't give away too much of the plot. Enjoy!

The July selection for Bella's Book Club is The Mortal Instrumentst trilogy by Cassandra Clare. If you are unable to come to the library on July 2 at 3:30 for the live, in-person discussion, we will have a virtual discussion on this blog starting June 29.
If you are reading along with us, here is the series in order (the picture shows them backward).
1. City of Bones
2. City of Ashes
3. City of Glass
So, all of you out there in web-land, READ along with us! Enjoy these books, then leave comments on the Book Discussion page that I'll set up. We love to hear your comments!
