Added security on Bella's Book Club...

Hello BBC friends and visitors!

Thanks for visiting our website. The purpose of our website is to discuss supernatural books similar to Stephenie Meyer's Twilight series. We strive to be a website that educates, informs and entertains. We are maintained by a library book club group, and we do not seek profit from this blog. For this reason, you will not find advertising on the site, and we will not allow comments to contain links that promote a product.

Recently, we've had some spammed comments that contain links of this nature, so we have added some security measures. For now, we will continue to allow anyone to make a comment on the blog. However, you will need to do a word verification to submit each comment. Word verification is easy--you simply need to type in the letters that are shown in the box. This verification tells us that you are a person, and not a computerized program that inserts content in our comments field. It would also be helpful if all comments made by you, dear friends, would be listed with a name instead of "anonymous". It doesn't matter if you make up a false name, use your pet's name or even create a secret identity. All of the problem comments made with these bogus links have been listed as "anonymous".

We hope that these added steps do not cause you to stop making comments, because we feel that YOUR OPINION COUNTS, and we love to hear what you think about the books and issues that we discuss!

I can't believe that Hollywood is so short on blonde actresses looking for work that they couldn't find one to play Elena. However, I guess redheads are also in short supply. At least they got Damon and Caroline right. Also, I want to punch Jeremy in the face every time he skulks on the screen, but I don't think that's a strange reaction given that he's supposed to be a four-year-old girl named Margaret. I hope they don't hire these casting directors for any other show/movie adaptation I care about.
