I LOVED this book! It was slow-going at first but once it got going I couldn't put it down! I actually considered not reading it at the beginning but then it got good. I can't wait to compare the book to the movie. I already know that I don't like who they picked for Vivian from the cover, but I want to know who they picked for Esme and Astrid. Don't you think it's funny that Vivian's mom's name is Esme and so is Edward's? Rafe also reminds me of Trevor from Vampire Kisses. Also I think it's kind of sick how Vivians mom liked Gabriel and he was only 24! I mean she could have been his mom. I didn't know this was really a romance book but it turned out to be one of those more than anything. Anyway I can't wait to get Tantalize because it's sunday and I don't have anything to read! C ya @ the movie if not sooner.

Here's a question: Did anyone think that the abrupt "romance" between Viv and Gabe in the last chapter was lacking anything? I just didn't see it coming, and from earlier descriptions of Gabriel by Vivian in the beginning of the book, I had really begun to despise him. It was a shock for me at the end to have her suddenly fall in love with him.

What do you think?

Hey hey!! This is Niki Lee. A friend and I filmed a rant on the differences between Blood and Choclate the movie and Blood and Chocolate the book the Main's Teen Blog. If you wanna watch it, search under videos on the blog. It is a few months old, I will confess, but it's still there.

And, if I could get out to Tecumseh Branch for these meetings, I soooooooo would. I have so much to say about all the books that you've mentioned. I've already read them all and I feel like writing angry letters to authors telling them to write faster.

Anyways, watch the vid, comment, etc.

I have to say, I loved this book! And I'm not the one who usually reads things with Vampires and Werewolves, but I totaly am hooked. The movie Was wonderful as well and I was so happy they chose someone like Bryan Dick to play Rafe. All in all, It's one of my favorites!

Hi, I'm Lyndsey...
I'm not a member of the book club or anything, but I just finished reading Blood and Chocolate after having watched the movie on Stars, and I enjoyed both a great deal, but can't for the life of me see that the movie is a portrayal of the book! I think the only similarities are the names and the fact that Gabriel is the Pack Leader...oh and they are werewolves.. But pretty much everything else is completely different! Has anyone else made this observation or is it just me?
